Making a Call Using UWTs
Callback Service
The following steps describe how to place phone calls using your
United World Telecom account.
- Dial your access number. Hang up immediately at the first ring.
Wait a moment for the computer to call you back (usually 10 -
60 seconds) and says "Please dial your phone number followed
by the # key"
- Dial 011 followed by the country code, area code and the number
you wish to call, followed by #. The computer will say "Please
wait while we dial your phone number"
Note: For calls to USA, Canada and Caribbean do not enter 011,
start with country code 1, then area code
..
- At the end of your call, you may either press ### to make another
call or press *** to disconnect from United World Telecom and
ensure that your billing session is terminated properly.
The notations *** and ### indicate buttons on your telephone
to be pressed three times.
All UWT services require the use of a true touch tone telephone,
or hand-held dialer which simulates the tones for rotary phone
users. These are available at most electronics stores.
If you make a dialing mistake, press ###. The computer return
you to the " Please dial your phone number followed by the
# key "
When you call your access number, the computer will call back
to the number of your most recent location. To check that location,
call Customer Service or send us an email.
To reach Customer Service, call directly by dialing 1-561-276-7156.
Changing Your CallBack Number From Your Present Location
(From the location where you previously received your callback)
Change your location number at any time by calling Customer Service
at 1-561-276-7156 or change it automatically by following these
simple instructions.
- Dial your access number, and hang up at the first ring
- Wait for your callback and pick up the receiver.
- Press * 2 3
- When prompted, enter your PIN (this is the minimum protection
imposed UWT) followed by the # sign
- When prompted, enter the number where you would like to be
called back FOLLOWED BY THE # KEY (this will be your new callback
number until you change it again)
For a number in the US, Canada or Caribbean, enter 1-Area Code
Phone-Number #
For a number anywhere else in the world, enter 011-Country Code-Number

- The computer will repeat the number you have just entered.
- If the number entered is incorrect, press 3 and re-enter your
new callback number.
- If the number entered is correct and you have an extension
that the server should dial after your number, press 1 and enter
it followed by the # key.
- If the number entered is correct and you do not have an extension,
save it by entering 2.
- Hang up or make a call by dialing your destination number
followed by the # key.
Changing Your CallBack Number From A New Location
(From the location where you would now like to receive your callback)
- Dial the Global IVR Access number and wait for the computer
to answer
Note: To obtain this Global IVR Access Number, you must contact
us and verify that you are a current customer by providing us
your name and access number
- Enter the last 7 digits of your access number (the digits after
305) followed by # sign
- Enter your PIN number followed by #
- Enter 3
- When prompted, enter new the number where you would like to
be called back FOLLOWED BY THE # KEY (this will be your new callback
number until you change it again)
For a number in the US, Canada or Caribbean, enter 1-Area Code
Phone-Number #
For a number anywhere else in the world, enter 011-Country Code-Number

- The computer will repeat the number you have just entered.

- Hang up . You can request a callback from your new location
by dialing your access number.

Recording a Personal Greeting
- Dial your access number, and hang up at the first ring
- Wait for your callback and pick up the receiver.
- Press * 2 5
- If this is the first time you record a personal greeting, you
will be prompted to enter a 7 digit code which could be your access
number (different from your PIN) (do not enter the # sign).
- For confirmation, re-enter this 7 digit code. The number will
be repeated by the computer.
- Press 1 to Save, 2 to replay, 3 to change/modify
- Press 5 and record your personal greeting after the beep. End
your recording by pressing the # key
- Press 1 to Save, 2 to replay, 3 to change/modify
- To delete your personal greeting NOW press 6. To delete the
greeting from a new session, please see instructions below.
- Hang up or make a call by dialing your destination number
followed by the # key.
Deleting a Personal Greeting
- Dial your access number, and hang up at the first ring
- Wait for your callback and pick up the receiver.
- Press * 2 6
- Hang up or make a call by dialing your destination number followed
by the # key.
Speed Dial Numbers
For a faster connection to your most frequently called numbers,
our system allows you to pre- record 99 numbers (speed dial numbers).
If you want us to record these numbers for you, send us an email
or fax or letter OR
To record speed dial numbers yourself:
- dial your access number and wait for callback, then press *
2 and 4
- enter a speed dial code between 01 and 99, then enter the number
you would like to record under that code (the frequently called
number) followed by the # key.
For example, after callback enter * 2 4 01 01133444444444# to
assign speed dial code 01 to the French number 011 33 4 44444444.
Press 1 to save, 2 to replay, 3 to re-enter/make a correction.
To record an other number, repeat these instructions from step
b/ or just hang up. Thereafter to call a speed dial number, dial
your access number, wait for callback and then dial your speed
dial code (01 through 99) followed by #
